The workshop and the record: the forge and its stones, the tools, Insight and the night's singular encounters.
An abyssal gem
Obtain an abyssal Blood Gem with a rating of 20.
Abyssal refers to gems with a rating of 20. This rating describes the gem; it is neither a +20 level nor an upgrade applied to a weapon. The gem's shape and effect are unrestricted.
Victory under a curse
Defeat a boss in your own world while keeping a cursed gem fitted to the weapon you use throughout the entire fight.
A cursed gem combines a beneficial effect with a negative one. Any curse is accepted for this challenge; summons are allowed. Victory validates the achievement; do not remove or replace the gem during the fight.
Three fortified slots
Fit compatible gems simultaneously into all three slots of the same trick weapon.
A trick weapon's third gem slot opens at +6. The Blood Gem Workshop Tool enables gem fortification in the Hunter's Dream. Each gem must match the shape of its slot; a droplet gem fits every shape.
A Weapon at the Pinnacle of the Forge
Upgrade a right-hand weapon to +10.
The workshop bench in the Dream lets you fortify weapons with blood stones. The final upgrade, from +9 to +10, requires a Blood Rock; fitting blood gems is a separate operation.
The Left Hand at Full Strength
Upgrade a compatible piece of left-hand equipment to +10.
The Hunter’s Torch can be fortified, unlike the standard Torch, Wooden Shield and Loch Shield. These three items cannot fulfil this achievement.
Nine Weapons to Cross the Night
Own nine distinct models of right-hand weapons upgraded to +10 with the same character.
Two variants of the same model only count once: Normal, Uncanny and Lost versions share the same weapon model. Every individual weapon upgraded to +10 requires its own Blood Rock.
Five Weapons in the Left Hand
Own five distinct models of left-hand equipment upgraded to +10 with the same character.
The collection covers equipment that can be fortified, including the Hunter’s Torch. Multiple copies of the same model do not count separately; the standard Torch and both shields cannot be fortified.
The Price of Inhuman Sight
Spend a total of 100 Insight at the Insight Bath Messengers with the same character.
Your current Insight cannot exceed 99. This achievement therefore adds up purchases throughout the hunt; Insight lost to enemies or spent on summoning is not a purchase.
Blood Stone Shard
Obtain at least one Blood Stone Shard.
Shards are used for upgrades from +1 to +3. Purchases, treasures and enemy drops all count. Obtaining the material is enough: using it afterward does not remove the achievement.
Twin Blood Stone Shards
Obtain at least one Twin Blood Stone Shards.
Twin shards are used for upgrades from +4 to +6. Purchases, treasures and enemy drops all count. Obtaining the material is enough: using it afterward does not remove the achievement.
Blood Stone Chunk
Obtain at least one Blood Stone Chunk.
Chunks are used for upgrades from +7 to +9. Purchases, treasures and enemy drops all count. Obtaining the material is enough: using it afterward does not remove the achievement.
Blood Rock
Obtain at least one Blood Rock.
A rock takes a weapon from +9 to +10, its maximum upgrade. Purchases, treasures and enemy drops all count. Obtaining the material is enough: using it afterward does not remove the achievement.
A Call Beyond

This tool fires arcane projectiles. It is found on the walkway of the Grand Cathedral, beyond the breakable window after the Celestial Emissary. Acquiring it is enough; no use or minimum attribute requirement applies.

Empty Phantasm Shell
Obtain Empty Phantasm Shell on this character.
The shell applies an arcane buff to weapons that accept temporary buffs. It is found in a chest at the top of the Byrgenwerth building. Acquiring it is enough; no use or minimum attribute requirement applies.
Executioner's Gloves
Obtain Executioner's Gloves on this character.
These gloves release spirits that pursue their target. They are found in a chest in the Cainhurst library, reached by taking a detour outside the windows. Acquiring them is enough; no use or minimum attribute requirement applies.
Choir Bell
Obtain Choir Bell on this character.
The bell heals its user and nearby allies. It is found in a chest in the Nightmare of Mensis, in the room with rafters near the Winter Lanterns. Acquiring it is enough; no use or minimum attribute requirement applies.
Messenger's Gift
Obtain Messenger's Gift on this character.
This tool lets you take on the appearance of Messengers. It is found at the end of a swampy passage in the Nightmare Frontier, guarded by a Winter Lantern. Acquiring it is enough; no use or minimum attribute requirement applies.
Old Hunter Bone
Obtain Old Hunter Bone on this character.
This bone recalls the old hunters' art of movement. It lies in front of a gravestone in the Abandoned Old Workshop. Its effect speeds up dodge recovery without increasing invulnerability. Acquiring it is enough; no use or minimum attribute requirement applies.
Tiny Tonitrus
Obtain Tiny Tonitrus on this character.
This tool unleashes a line of lightning. It can be collected in Yahar'gul during the Blood Moon, in a cell guarded by a giant along the path descending from the sacrificial square. Acquiring it is enough; no use or minimum attribute requirement applies.
Madara’s Whistle
Obtain Madara’s Whistle on this character.
The Younger Madaras Twin drops this whistle upon death in the Forbidden Woods. The tool is associated with the League, added in update 1.07; the DLC is not required to obtain it. Acquiring it is enough; no use or minimum attribute requirement applies.
Blacksky Eye
Obtain Blacksky Eye on this character.
This tool is found among the flowers on the Research Hall balcony. The Balcony Key can be obtained from Adeline after giving her two Brain Fluids, or from her body. Only acquisition is required; you do not need to use the tool or meet any minimum attribute requirement.
Accursed Brew
Obtain Accursed Brew on this character.
The priest at the entrance to the Fishing Hamlet gives you this tool if you speak to him while wearing the Milkweed rune. That rune is the reward for giving Adeline three Brain Fluids. Only acquisition is required; you do not need to use the tool or meet any minimum attribute requirement.
The Two Giants in the Well
Descend into the Fishing Hamlet well and defeat both Shark Giants without dying or leaving the well during the fight.
The anchor-wielding giant fights first; the one hanging from the ceiling joins later and carries the Rakuyo. Any weapons and items are allowed, including the Shaman Bone Blade. Obtaining the weapon alone is not enough: both giants must fall under these conditions.
Hemwick Without Inhuman Sight
After discovering the Witches of Hemwick fight, leave, spend all your Insight, then return and defeat both witches while keeping your Insight at 0 until victory.
Entering the arena for the first time grants one point of Insight. Spend it before returning: at zero Insight, the creatures normally summoned by the witches do not appear. Both witches must still be defeated.
Oedon — The Refuge Beneath the Blood Moon
After defeating Rom and before defeating Micolash, find Arianna, Adella, the Lonely Old Woman, the Skeptical Man and the Chapel Dweller all alive at Oedon Chapel.
The refuge brings together four residents and the Chapel Dweller. Do not let the Suspicious Beggar kill its occupants; also watch Adella and the old woman’s trips outside. Check this before Arianna leaves for the area beneath the chapel after Micolash.
