Valtr, Master of the League — Bloodborne

Quest overview

Crush five Vermin to complete the League quest and unlock Valtr's stronger form.

• Reach the small windmill to the right of the Forbidden Woods lamp.
• Obtain and use Vermin: owning them without crushing them does not count towards the milestones.

• Killing Valtr triggers the Younger Madaras Twin, but does not replace the natural progression of the League gesture.

Join the League

• Speak to Valtr and agree to join the League.

Impurity rune; Valtr becomes available as a summonable ally.

Crush the first Vermin

After obtaining a Vermin

• Use the Vermin in your inventory to crush it.
• Return and speak to Valtr.

League Staff and League Oath gesture.

After five uses in total

• The two-Vermin milestone only adds dialogue.
• After crushing five Vermin in total, speak to Valtr and exhaust his dialogue.

Final oath progression complete.

Reload, then collect the helmet

After the final conversation

• Leave the area, then return to the windmill.
• Pick up the Master's Iron Helm where Valtr stood.
• Be ready to fight the Younger Madaras Twin in front of the lamp.

Master's helmet; Valtr, Beast Eater replaces his first form as a summon.

The gesture variant with a hand on the chest requires the Impurity rune to be equipped after this conclusion.
