Retired Hunter Djura — Quests & characters, Bloodborne. Approach Djura from behind to obtain his badge and gesture peacefully.

Quest overview
Approach Djura from behind to obtain his badge and gesture peacefully.
- Leave him alive in Old Yharnam.
- Have encountered Paarl at least once, which grants 1 Insight.
- Have a rear route from either the Blood-starved Beast lamp or Paarl's lamp.
- After reconciliation, attacking an enemy in Old Yharnam makes him permanently hostile.
- His set only goes on sale for Insight after his death: that is a separate choice from reconciliation.
Do not kill him on your first visit
Old Yharnam · Gatling Gun tower
First visit
- Continue through Old Yharnam while keeping Djura alive.
- His shooting at the player during this first visit does not prevent reconciliation.
Djura alive for a later return.
Encounter Paarl before returning
Yahar'gul · Darkbeast Paarl's arena
Before the peaceful approach
- Enter the Paarl encounter at least once.
- Return to Old Yharnam from the Church of the Good Chalice lamp or Paarl's graveyard.
Paarl encounter requirement met.
To keep the Blood-starved Beast alive, the wiki suggests defeating Paarl during the blood moon and returning through his lamp.
Climb up without being spotted below
Old Yharnam · rear approach to the tower
From either of the two rear lamps
- Reach the tower ladder without crossing the Gatling Gun's field of view.
- Climb to the top: Djura leaves the gun and approaches without attacking if the conditions are met.
Dialogue available at the top.
Promise to spare the beasts
Top of Djura's tower
During the peaceful conversation
- Choose to spare the beasts of Old Yharnam.
- Collect the rewards, then avoid hurting enemies in the area.
Powder Keg Hunter Badge and the Brush off Dust gesture.
If you choose to kill him for the set and he falls out of reach, reload: his badge reappears near the Gatling Gun.
