Choose your parries

The first strike of his scythe combo offers a clearer parry than his quick thrusts. Positioning matters as much as timing.

Punish the end of the combo

Dodge forward through the first two strikes, then move behind him on the third. A charged back attack can then open up a visceral attack.

  • Chalices do not follow the NG cycle. Root base values must be multiplied according to depth, layer and rites; they do not describe a specific fight.
  • A defense is a calculation value, not a damage reduction percentage. A Poison resistance of 999 does not imply immunity.
