Exploit the early parries

Interruptions are effective at first. Once its blade is aflame, exchanges become riskier: shorten your attempts and watch your remaining bullets.

Prepare a Poison option

Poison Knives let you deal damage while keeping your distance. Use the pillars to arrange your throws and wait for the effect to end.

• Chalices do not follow the NG cycle. Root base values must be multiplied according to depth, layer and rites; they do not describe a specific fight.
• A defense is a calculation value, not a damage reduction percentage. A Poison resistance of 999 does not imply immunity.
