Blood damage gems — Blood gems, Bloodborne. Strengthen a native blood component, particularly that of a firearm.
Use and limit
The blood percentage only increases blood damage already present. It does not convert a purely physical weapon into a blood weapon. Circle gems fit compatible firearms.
Physical gems also increase blood damage; specialised gems allow a higher percentage, but another shape may be difficult to obtain.

Gem effects and acquisition
Increases a native blood component. A circle gem fits compatible firearms.
The hit must deal blood damage. This effect does not convert a purely physical weapon into a blood weapon.
Compatible percentages multiply across gems. Flat additions remain separate from the product of percentage bonuses.
