Dense — Bloodborne
Dense — Blood gems, Bloodborne. The number changes the rate of wear, rather than the maximum durability displayed on the weapon.

Interpreting the value
| Wiki scenario | Hits to lose 1 point of durability |
|---|---|
| Standard case without this effect | 10 |
| +2.8 durability bonus | 13 |
| Maximum wear penalty | 1 |
Repair for the length of your outing
The positive bonus slows wear; the cursed version speeds it up. The effect's value does not directly add or remove points from the weapon's maximum durability.
Compare the weapon's durability with your planned route. Weapons with low durability tolerate a wear curse less well during long exploration.
Gem effects and acquisition
Changes the number of hits needed to lose one durability point. The weapon's maximum durability remains unchanged.
The effect changes wear on the equipped weapon. Repair before an outing longer than its durability will support.
Assess the weapon's actual rate of wear; do not add the displayed value to its maximum durability.
| Effect | Value |
|---|---|
| Standard case | 10 hits / point |
| Example +2.8 | 13 hits / point |
| Maximum penalty | 1 hit / point |
