Blood Gems in Coffins and Chests — Bloodborne
Blood Gems in Coffins and Chests — Blood gems, Bloodborne. Distinguish unique treasures from repeatable chest gems and read depth 5 values.
Unique treasures
Some coffins contain a unique treasure. Once collected, it is replaced by a knowledge item. Its shape and effects are fixed; the Cursed rite does not change this gem.
Depth 5 unique treasures
| Region | Shape | Effect and published range |
|---|---|---|
| Phumeru | Radial | Physical +20.3% to +21.8% |
| Phumeru | Circle | Blood +24.3% to +26.1% |
| Loran | Waning | Fire or bolt +20.3% to +21.8% |
| Isz | Triangle | Arcane +20.3% to +21.8% |
Non-unique gems
- These can be obtained again. Their strength depends on the region and layer; the Cursed rite can affect them.
- Generally, layers 1 to 3 provide flat bonuses, with higher values on layers 2 and 3. Layer 4 offers more scaling or percentage bonuses.
- Coffins give gems one rating higher than ordinary chests and enemies in the same context. Unusual shapes are possible.
Gem effects and acquisition
Unique treasures have a fixed shape and effects, then are replaced by a knowledge item. Non-unique gems can be farmed again.
First identify whether the chest contains a unique treasure or a repeatable gem.
The Cursed rite does not affect unique treasures. Region and layer influence non-unique gems.
