Heavy — Bloodborne

Heavy — Blood gems, Bloodborne. Read the Strength scaling coefficient and compare it with a percentage damage gem.

Heavy

The number to interpret

A Heavy Abyssal adds +65 Strength scaling, or +0.65 to the scaling coefficient. This is neither +65 Strength nor +65% damage. The result depends on your Strength and base physical damage.

Compare with the same stats

Keep the same upgraded weapon, stats and move. Replace one gem at a time, then compare attack and damage against the same target.

Gem effects and acquisition

Adds a coefficient to Strength scaling

The gain depends on your character's stat and the weapon's base physical damage.

Added coefficients are summed with the native coefficient. The resulting attack gain then depends on your stats and the weapon's base damage.
