Sharp — Bloodborne
Sharp — Blood gems, Bloodborne. Read the Skill scaling coefficient and compare it with a percentage damage gem.
The number to interpret
The bonus affects physical scaling with Skill. The variant list gives +27.2; its summary table gives a different bound. This page uses the documented variant without presenting it as an absolute theoretical limit.
Compare with the same stats
Keep the same upgraded weapon, stats and move. Replace one gem at a time, then compare attack and damage against the same target.

Gem effects and acquisition
Adds a coefficient to Skill scaling
The gain depends on your character's stat and the weapon's base physical damage.
Added coefficients are summed with the native coefficient. The resulting attack gain then depends on your stats and the weapon's base damage.
