Eileen the Crow — Bloodborne

Quest overview

Obtain the Crow Hunter Badge and Hunter rune while keeping Eileen an ally.

• Reach Central Yharnam, then Cathedral Ward.
• Plan to fight Henryk before entering the Forbidden Woods.

• The first conversation must happen before you enter the Forbidden Woods.
• Henryk must be defeated and Eileen must survive before you enter the Woods.
• Killing Eileen grants the badge but not the Hunter rune.

Find Eileen at the docks

Central Yharnam · docks near the dog cages

Day or evening, before the Forbidden Woods

• From the lamp, go through the shortcut gate, then pass the two large enemies to reach the dog cages.
• Enter the docks; break the barrels on the right, go through the opening, then clear the passage on the right.
• Speak to Eileen twice. If she has already left the docks, look outside Oedon Chapel at the next step.

Unlock the hunt for Henryk

Cathedral Ward · outside Oedon Chapel

After opening the gate towards the circular plaza; before examining Amelia's skull

• Leave through the chapel's main entrance, then turn immediately left.
• Speak to Eileen until she warns you about Henryk.
• If this is your first conversation, reload the area and speak to her again to trigger the warning.

Keep Eileen alive during the duel

Central Yharnam · Tomb of Oedon

Before entering the Forbidden Woods at all

• Start from the Cathedral Ward lamp and return to Father Gascoigne's arena: the tomb lamp is unavailable.
• Fight Henryk. Eileen arrives during the fight; if you reloaded the area after the warning, the duel has already begun.
• After winning, exhaust Eileen's dialogue before continuing towards the Woods.

Approval gesture; favourable branch preserved.

Her death ends her quest and prevents her later rewards. Do not mistake her for your target.

After Rom and the blood moon scene

• Go to the cathedral where Amelia was.
• Speak to wounded Eileen outside the entrance to obtain the Wait gesture.
• Enter to fight the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst.

Eileen remains outside; the opponent is inside the cathedral.

If Eileen is waiting inside and attacks, the hostile branch has been triggered. Do not use the Choir Bell on wounded Eileen: the wiki reports that it kills her.

After the Bloody Crow

• Defeat the Bloody Crow.
• Return outside and speak to Eileen again; do not leave the area with only the fight's loot.
