Deep Sea adds Frenzy resistance. There are only a few sources of Frenzy in all of Bloodborne, but they are very dangerous. Of particular note are the Winter Lanterns. Their ability to inflict Frenzy is truly terrifying; having a Deep Sea Rune equipped can save you from death (or heavy reliance on Sedatives)!
