Prepare Fire damage
Fire is its lowest defense. An upgraded Flamesprayer or Fire-buffed weapon helps exploit openings on its limbs.
Free the camera
In melee, disable lock-on to keep the limbs and exits visible. Locking on at very close range creates unfavourable angles.
- Headed and Headless are separate encounters. Ihyll's Headless form is not obtained by decapitating the Lower Pthumeru boss.
- Chalices do not follow the NG cycle. Root base values must be multiplied according to depth, layer and rites; they do not describe a specific fight.
- A defense is a calculation value, not a damage reduction percentage. A Poison resistance of 999 does not imply immunity.
