Anti-Clockwise Metamorphosis boosts your maximum stamina. Whereas Clockwise Metamorphosis can be viewed as the default defensive Rune, this is the default offensive Rune. Having more stamina allows you to execute longer attack strings without retreating, and it's more useful for users of weapons with high-stamina costs. If you like weapons such as the Hunter Axe and Logarius' Wheel, for example, Anti-Clockwise Metamorphosis can be a huge boon!
